Tree Planting Ceremony at Yerba Buena

January 24, 2026 • 2 PM

Next to the Yerba Buena Carousel (LeRoy King Carousel)
221 4th Street, San Francisco, CA 94103

Join us for the dedication of the Deoli Survivors Remembrance Tree, a living symbol of endurance and memory, honoring the resilience of the Chinese Indian community interned at Deoli Camp in 1962. You can read more about the event in our Spotlight Stories.

This tree honors Deoli survivors — their resilience, dignity, and enduring hope. We’ll gather for brief reflections, a moment of remembrance, and community connection. All are welcome.
